manager
II manages Trust Officers and other team members who are responsible for setting up and administering trust accounts, retaining client relationships, and developing these relationships to their fullest potential by cross-selling financial
services
.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for assigned local trust office(s) and the performance of the associated trust business
Responsible for new business development and retention of existing clients
Assigns accounts and ensures relationships are managed according to fiduciary policies and procedures so satisfactory audits and service standards are met
Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training of Trust Team
Acts as a resource to answer questions, review documents, negotiate fees, and approve discretionary distributions up to appropriate amounts
Effectively maintain relationships with bank partners and other centers of influence
Manages account relationships
Manages revenue between $1-$5MM.

Requirements
Bachelors degree in a related field ; Juris Doctor, strongly preferred
Six (6) years of trust administration experience, or fiduciary legal experience, highly preferred in lieu of administration experience
Five (5) years
management
experience, required
Three (3) years
community
service experience with nonprofits including service as a board member
Skills and Competencies
Subject matter
expert
in trust principles and regulatory and tax matters relating to the administration of trust accounts
Proven and effective sales techniques
Experience and skills as a coach and leader
Excellent oral, written and organizational skills
Skilled in applicable
computer
software, e.g., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships internally and externally
Preferences
Masters degree
Three (3) years previous management experience
