Job Summary
Responsible for the performance and management of functions relating to the operations of Medication Dispensing Technology throughout the Pharmacy Department of ChildrenaEUR(TM)s of Alabama in accordance with stated ALBOP and JC regulations and hospital policies.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to medication distribution, compliance and documentation, maintenance and repair, performance improvement, innovation, pharmacy operations, training and regulatory compliance related to the use of Pyxis, Swisslog, Swisslog Packager, MediDose, and PandoraVIA software.
Education
High School graduate or equivalent
Experience
Two years of basic Pyxis knowledge and experience required.
Advanced Pyxis work experience in initial station set-up, configuration, communications, maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
Current Alabama Pharmacy Technician License with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy
National Technician Certification preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
