Job Summary
Provides anesthesia care services for diverse neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology procedures under the direction of an anesthesiologist.
Education
Graduation from an approved program of nurse anesthesia accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor required.
Experience
Three years experience required with pediatrics preferred.
Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
Alabama RN License
CRNA Certification by the Council on Certification/Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
Alabama Board of Nursing Approval to Practice as a CRNA (Advanced Practice Category)
Current Certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support are required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
