This position is located with the Small Business Administration in the Office of Capital Access, Office of Financial Program Operations with the Portfolio Management and Quality Control Division.

The incumbent will plan and carry out complex assignments designed to reflect new policy or regulations with a focus on improving effectiveness and efficiency of servicing, collection, and loan resolution matters.
As a Financial Analyst, you will actively engage in the following duties:
Develops authoritative proposals for new policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of disaster loan servicing and liquidation; and/or needed changes to existing SOPs in these areas.
Plans and coordinates operational reviews and studies designed to detect and correct operational inefficiencies.
Prepares management reports including trends and analysis, on Disaster loan servicing and liquidation issues.

QualificationsFor the GS-14:
One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector which includes:
1.
Developing and implementing operational and program initiatives related to loan servicing; and2.
Planning and coordinating program reviews to assess operational efficiency; and3.
Assisting in the development of policies and procedures related to residential or commercial loan portfolio management (e.
g, loan servicing, debt collections, loan liquidation, or guaranty purchase).
