Summary The role of public relations is to position the company positively within the banking industry and in the markets we serve as a leading regional financial services company by developing and executing a public relations strategy aligned with companys primary purpose and values and business priorities.
At First Horizon, the public relations specialist helps to achieve corporate objectives at the market level by creating and executing plans that drive client growth, promote the brand and invest in the community in meaningful ways.
Positioned in market to:

Help develop regional banking strategy to drive growth and revenue opportunities
Help integrate corporate communications and marketing strategies within regions
Assist market leadership/banking teams to develop and sustain client relationships (primarily commercial/PB/Wealth)
Operationalize brand at the ground level
Help attract and retain talentProvide market level feedback to centralized Corp Comms/Marketing Key Responsibilities Include
Create differentiating events and client experiences to build relationships with clients and centers of influence
Develop/execute community investment strategy, including budget management and ROI
Liaison to CRA to help define and achieve market level CRA goals and objectives,
Manage local media relations, pitch ideas/stories and work with corporate media relations
Serve as brand advocates in community
Work with social media to develop brand recognition by promoting community partnerships and talent Qualifications Include
A minimum of five years of public relations experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interface effectively with internal and external audiences
Self-motivated and team oriented
Committed to high-quality work product
Discretion to manage highly confidential information
Ability to work efficiently with a high level of attention to detail
Excellent time-management, organizational and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision and be able to respond effectively to competing priorities

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
