Job Description - Pharmacist - Rotating 8-hour shifts M-F (6a-6p) (CAL000FK) Pharmacist - Rotating 8-hour shifts M-F (6a-6p) - ( CAL000FK ) Description Description The Pharmacist performs a variety of duties, which require special skills and knowledge in the various aspects of hospital pharmacy. A primary function of this position is the preparation, distribution, and control of medications that are used within the hospital and/or dispensed for use outside the hospital. Other responsibilities include those related to drug information, inventory control, and supervision of ancillary pharmacy personnel. Qualifications Current pharmacy license in the State of Alabama with no record of licensure revocation or suspension. At least one-year hospital experience preferred. BLS certification required by the end of employee provisional period. Must maintain required certifications. Provides quality patient care for the needs of the populations served and age specific groups as indicated:
pediatric (>1 - 12 years), adolescent (>12 - 17 years), adult (>17 - 65 years), and geriatric (>65 years). Primary Location Primary Location :
