Part-Time Accounts Receivable Representative

EBSCO Creative Concepts is seeking a part time (10-20 hours weekly) accounts receivable clerk, working 2-5 hours daily.
Individual must possess confidence, excellent communication and people skills, ability to prioritize tasks, excellent organizational skills, ability to effectively use Microsoft Excel, good mathematical skills, and solid writing ability.
Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for daily processing customer payments and reconciling payments to invoices in the company ERP system. Other responsibilities will include:
Balancing of deposits
Reconciliation
Maintaining receivables reporting
Customer contact/collections on open invoices
Helping AP clerk contact vendors to obtain invoices as needed
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a team environment, adapts quickly to change, has excellent organizational and communication skills, and works well in Microsoft Excel. Excellent attendance is required.

Basic
Qualifications:
High School diploma
4
years in an office environment, communicating with internal and external individuals using phone and email
2
years experience with Microsoft Office applications- Excel & Word
2
years experience in accounts receivable/collection or accounts payable
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience using SAP or other accounting software
College courses in business or accounting

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
