POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced sales executive to join our teamAs the Vice President of Sales, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales strategies and achieving revenue goalsYou will lead a talented team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture while nurturing client relationships and expanding our market presenceYour strategic vision, exceptional leadership skills, and proven sales expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our sales operations.
RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets, while monitoring and evaluating their performance.
Mentor and develop the sales team, including hiring and training new team members.
Negotiate and close agreements with large customers and manage complex contracts.
Prepare sales team reports weekly and conduct business reviews quarterly.
Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure the sales team is on board.
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Provide feedback to the marketing team regarding customer insights and product feedback.
Collaborate with other departments to achieve better alignment and streamlined operations.
REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant fieldA Master's degree is a plus.
Proven work experience as a Sales Director, VP of Sales, Chief Revenue Officer, or similar senior sales role.
Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
Strong understanding of how to manage a high-performing sales team.
Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance enhancement.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace suite.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to think strategically and to lead with a hands-on approach.
Willingness to travel as required.
Candidates must be located in Birmingham, Alabama or able to relocate within 90 days.
