Tired of working a sales job with no room for growth? At HangerSponsor the right, driven individual can experience growth within the company advancing to a management role in a brief amount of time.
As an Account Manager at first you will be required to start by building your territory. Success in this area will be based on meeting weekly and monthly sales goals. Once a steady foundation is built, responsibilities will shift to a more dynamic and variable role, where you will be tasked with the day to day leadership of working closely with other Account Managers within new territories. You will be entrusted with supplemental field training and development of your sales team in addition you will be working in the field to help improve your sales teams' market saturation.
Key Responsibilities Include: The Account Manager will build a sales territory by selling sponsorship advertising space to local businesses with the additional responsibilities of:
Execution of the sales plan in your geographic area of responsibility.
Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly sales goals.
Implementing approved sales techniques for closing and prospecting.
Ability to work the telephone to secure appointments.
Ability to transfer leads into appointments and then into sales.
High energy level, outgoing personality and confident in working with multiple accounts daily.
Reliable transportation needed to travel in the assigned territory, a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and the ability to work effectively from your vehicle.
Conducting periodic reviews to ensure individual and campaign pacing and forecasting.
Desired Skills & Experience
Proven track record of developing new business and achieving sales goals.
Background in managing, mentoring, and developing outside salespeople helpful.
Strong advertising acumen.
Strong analytical and computer skills.
Bachelor degree preferred but not necessary.
Compensation: This is the perfect position if you have a sales background with little room for growth in your current position and you are looking to take the next big step in your career. (Realistic first year commissions $50-70k.)
