Location:
Birmingham or Memphis preferred; will consider candidates located in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Tampa or Orlando. Credit Review:
Identify, assess and report credit risks in various Bank consumer loan portfolios through Credit Assurance Services (CAS) process, including but not limited to transactional review/testing & targeted exam. Assess and report the effectiveness of Credit Risk Management process in various lending and lending support areas. Assess and report the Bank's effectiveness in operating within established credit policy, risk appetite and tolerance. Provide recommendations and influence a sound credit management and internal control environment. Complete/lead different types of testing and exam projects. Portfolio/Unit Monitoring:
Identify, assess and report credit risks in various Bank consumer loan portfolios through Credit Assurance Services (CAS) process, including but not limited to the ongoing monitoring of various consumer products/portfolios and lending/lending support areas. Serves as Consumer Desk Officer - monitor and report on credit quality, credit risk management and emerging risks based on activities including but not limited to transactional review/testing & targeted exam, review of portfolio and industry information, and interaction with management. Track and follow up on Moderate-High level issues identified in CAS and regulatory reviews/exams, including validating corrective action plan results. Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in applicable discipline - 6-8 years experience working with Consumer loan/credit review, credit analysis/ underwriting, portfolio management - Ability to travel as needed for meetings
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Banking, Loans & InsuranceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
