Smartronix is seeking an experienced cloud professional to support critical client proposal efforts. The Senior Solutions Architect will design and develop winning technical solutions for challenging client proposals while collaborating with executive teams, capture managers, operations teams, and subject matter experts. Must be a proven problem solver in technical and management disciplines as well as the civilian, DoD, and IC agencies. Serves in various functions, such as, capture support, proposal cloud technical SME, and lead project architect. Develops and translates capture strategy and technical and operational delivery capabilities into compelling and compliant proposal content. The Sr. SA will be a member of our Cloud Center of Excellence and will support both the capture of business and project execution. This person will actively participate in the development, review and documentation of business and system requirements to obtain a thorough understanding of customer needs to deliver accurate solutions. They will be responsible for translating customer requirements and needs into proven, fully documented, and cost-efficient design patterns. They will be responsible for both helping customers develop their vision and roadmap to modernize high-profile, mission critical, legacy workloads as well as hands-on execution of those modernization efforts. Responsibilities Responsible for defining and driving the technical direction of prospective business opportunities, developing cloud architectures and providing technical leadership for proposals and strategic pursuits Develop persuasive win themes and practical delivery approaches that apply technical concepts and business capabilities to solve specific mission challenges Assist with determining level of effort estimates for various efforts, using information provided as part of the solicitation documentation, to determine most cost efficient and effective staffing approaches Combine strategic thought leadership with the ability to guide, write, and review proposal sections irrespective of the discipline, technology, or requirements of those sections Provide capture consultation and advice, including inputs to staffing, pricing strategies and responses to customer solicitations Engage key clients and company thought leaders to develop trusted relationships resulting in the creation and expansion of business opportunities Lead and support technical delivery of cloud solutions on key client engagements Required Skills and Experience Clearance requirement:
Active TS/SCI CI Poly US Citizenship required DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) experience highly desired Cloud Subject Matter Expertise in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP Previous experience supporting business development including capture, proposal writing, technical customer presentations, and solution cost estimates Extensive technical experience in the IT industry, with specific expertise in delivery areas of Cloud, IT Infrastructure/Services, Architecture, and Security Experience with working through federal acquisition process and building solutions for highly regulated and federal government customers Performs with attention to detail and operates with a sense of urgency while delivering high quality client-facing deliverables Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate themes, ideas, and other insights to clients, company management, and relevant stakeholders Strong creative ability to generate ideas for solving complex problems and producing outcomes Able to adjust to frequent changes in priorities, effectively managing time and working across multiple projects with competing deadlines Ability to think strategically and tactically 12
years overall IT experience 5
years building and migrating infrastructure solutions on AWS platform BA/BS Degree; MBA or equivalent business experience desired AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional or other CSP equivalent highly desired CISSP and PMP certifications are a plus Vaccination is a requirement of the position per Executive Order 14042.
