The expectation is that this position will report to our Birmingham AL office 5 days per week for training, and will then move to a hybrid work schedule.

Summary:
The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for cash flow analysis, management of expense reimbursement systems, credit card management, travel programs, as well as providing support to Investments in reporting and statutory deposit management.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
35% - Cash Flow Analysis and Bank Account Management:
Prepares and reports daily cash positions, and cash projections by analyzing insurance company activity and results.
Works closely with other Treasury staff to manage and plan cash movements.
Reviews bank balances and activity, prepares and reports on material changes, develops, and recommends cash management investments.
Assists in managing bank platform, bank account structures; troubleshoots issues with bank accounts.
35% - Expense Reimbursement and Credit Card Program:
Responsible for all facets of the expense reimbursement processes.
Develops and trains employees on the expense reimbursement processes.
Develops ad hoc reports, prepares regular reports, and supports report requests as needed.
Issues and cancels credit cards, manages limits, reports on exposures, stale charges, and accidental/personal.
Manages any fraud issues.
15% - Assists Investments Team:
Assists Investment Team and Chief Investment Officer in preparing and reporting on capital modeling for insurance companies, monthly investment balance sheets, investment compliance reviews, and investment liquidity analysis, and statutory deposit management.
15% - Travel Management:
Responsible for developing/drafting communication and enforcement of Travel policies including use of Travel management tools when applicable.
Manages relationship with Travel Management Company (TMC) when applicable.
Conduct reviews of TMC on regular basis to ensure efficiency and profitability goals are met.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business required.
Customer service oriented, be able to work with all levels of authority, respond well to deadlines.
Be an enthusiastic problem solver.
Enforce policies with empathy.
Have a general understanding of Treasury, Accounting, and Banking concepts.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in accounting software systems required, preferably in Workday.
Excellent data analysis skills.
Ability to recognize trends and patterns and determine possible solutions and outcomes.
Position Salary Range $40,664.
00 - $67,102.
00 The salary range displayed represents the entirety of the pay grade for this position.
Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have, your location and comparison to other team members already in this role.
