Primary Job Role:
The duties of this role require direct contact with members via phone, email, and other methods of electronic and written communication.
The specialist will complete requests and document each member interaction to measure operational workload, frequency of engagements, feedback, and questions.
Assists the Contact Center by managing miscellaneous tasks and responsibilities as assigned, as well as assisting members with questions or concerns regarding products, services, and general service needs.
The support specialist will participate in meetings with the Contact Center team to help develop new strategies and processes for efficiency.
This employee will serve as a liaison between the members and the Credit Union.
He or she will provide account information to members to promote and cross-sell Credit Union products and services, as well as open accounts and resolve issues, while professionally and thoroughly providing resolutions to members.
Functions and
Responsibilities:
Maintain and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Avadian's products and services to exercise good judgment in providing quality, accurate, and timely service in the daily processing of all departmental requests.
Ensure all necessary documents are received in order to perform file maintenance for opening and closing of accounts as well as changes in member account information.
Request, evaluate, and interpret information from debit/credit reporting agencies to ensure compliance with Avadian guidelines and federal regulations.
Manage incoming and outgoing member and interdepartmental mail, emails, and fax requests as assigned as well as email payoffs made by phone request.
Access, input, retrieve, and manage internal service requests in the core system and other supporting operating systems.
Timely respond to all online banking messages submitted by members.
Complete all outstanding requests sent by a third-party contact center.
Perform wire transfer requests.
Handle all telephone requests and inquiries in accordance with Credit Union policies.
Effectively manage time off the phones to meet job requirements.
Always maintain a professional image and demeanor while consistently demonstrating Avadian's WHY.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
Must have excellent written and verbal skills, positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, decisiveness, and professionalism.
Ability to multitask and manage high volume demands.
Must have the proven ability to provide quality service to our members.
Experience:
Six months of similar or related experience.
Experience:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
