Responsibilities:
Managing parts of construction projects Overseeing building work Undertaking surveys Setting out sites and organizing facilities checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly Supervising contracted staff Must be able to design sites (earthwork, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, grading, etc.
)for restaurants, shopping centers, apartments, etc.
Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager Providing technical advice and solving problems on site Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to Requirements:
Bachelors or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
At least one year of related experience preferred.
Must demonstrate experience in project management, client relations, and collaborative experience with multi-disciplinary teams.
Experienced and proficient designer with expertise in master planning, site design, urban design, entitlement and permitting process, and construction documentation including grading, and construction detailing.
Fluency with AutoCad, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Sketchup needed.
Enhanced 3D modeling skills (3D Max, Rhino, etc.
) are a plus.
Strong hand graphics and computer graphics ability.
Ability to adjust to dynamic project priorities.
Strong problem-solving skills and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain an overview of entire projects while continuing to attend to detailed technicalities Irrigation design ability is a plus Must be able to work Monday-Friday Direct hire position Salary $70,000-$90,000 depending on experience Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to):
$70,000.
00 - $90,000.
