BUS RAPID TRANSIT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a passion for the construction industry and a knack for BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) projects? If so, we have an exhilarating career opportunity for you! Our company is seeking a Project Manager specializing in BRT projects to join our dynamic teamThis role offers a unique chance to contribute to some of the most innovative and transformative construction projects in the industryYou will be part of a collaborative team working on a variety of BRT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager - BRT, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1Overseeing all aspects of BRT construction projects from planning to implementation.
2Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
3Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
4Interacting with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
5Developing and managing project budgets and schedules.
6Preparing and presenting project updates to stakeholders.
7Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
8Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.
9Managing relationships with contractors and suppliers.
10Coordinating with the Federal Transit Administration and other regulatory bodies as required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Project Manager - BRT position should possess the following
Qualifications:
1A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
2A minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction project management position, with a focus on BRT projects.
3A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
4Strong knowledge of BRT systems and the Federal Transit Administration regulations.
5Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
6Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
9Proficiency in project management software.
10PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
