Galleria Woods, a premier retirement community, is recruiting for Extraordinary LPNS. This is a great opportunity to utilize your LPN clinical and hospitality skills in 24 bed Assisted Living Nursing Unit. We offer a great teamwork environment and supportive management team. Part Time Day 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. every other 2nd and 4th Weekend
Pay Rate: $25.50 - $28.50
Weekend Shift Differential: $3.00 per hour
Required skills and
Qualifications:
1. LPN currently licensed by the State of Alabama.
2. At least 6 months nursing experience. Geriatric involvement preferable.
Your
Responsibilities:
1. Administers medications.
2. Administers treatments, including, but not limited to: dressings, catherization, suctioning, oxygen, etc.
3. Assists in direct resident care, as necessary.
4. Maintains accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered.
5. Assists in admission and discharge procedures.
6. Responds to resident emergency call system as indicated.
7. Makes rounds with physicians and transcribes orders.
8. Keeps physician and family aware of change in resident's condition.
9. Maintains the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each patient.
10. Assures continuity of services and care.
11. Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
12. Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
