Under general supervision, to provide and manage patient careTo deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation including, but not limited to, interviewing, obtaining physicals, providing patient education, determining initial diagnosis and documentationTo effectively interact with patient, significant others and other healthcare team members while maintaining standards of professional nursingTo respond to the unique needs of all patients ages newborn through geriatric.
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Associate's degree in Nursing requiredWork experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Preferred:
One year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in same specialty.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing requiredCurrent Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of employment required.
