Our client is a world leader in student accommodation based nationally and internationally. They are currently looking for a Senior Facilities
manager
to manage three sites covering the South East and Midlands.
Specifically the client is looking for the following:
Managing maintenance
services
employees and budgets also maintenance audits and ensuring all maintenance requests are dealt with promptly.
Develop and maintain a Maintenance Management System
Assist in supervision, coordination and control of contractors
Implementation of emergency processes e.g. emergency evacuation process
Establishing relationships with the university partner, residents, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Understand and implement all aspects of health and safety; being a representative for all external audits.
The successful candidate must have:-
Relevant Health and Safety qualification e.g. IOSH
Full UK drivers licence and own car
Relevant HNC, degree or qualification e.g. BIFM
Trade qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds) in electrical, mechanical, building services or similar
High level knowledge and expertise in Health and Safety related management, UK law and liaison with external bodies
Understanding of Health and Safety in a residential or similar environment
Ability to use common software packages, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and a practical knowledge of MS Project

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
