The Role
As the External
- Producer Group, you will be responsible for proactively promoting sales of Lincoln Financial Group's Life Insurance, Fixed Annuity and MoneyGuard products in your assigned territory through wholesale and point of sale efforts.
Sales and Relationship Management
Develops and maintains profitable productive relationships with clients in your assigned territory in order to significantly capture sales and market share
Responsible for maintaining high level of product expertise, providing marketing, training and sales support to the MGA and MGA back office
Responsible for supporting MGA Point of Sales Representatives inside of Wirehouses, including sales presentations to advisors
Actively consults and advises with MGA''s to provide them with value-added strategies that will increase their business with clients
Proactively seeks and supports the development of new initiatives to enhance Lincoln''s success and market presence
Develops and implements Territory Business plan
Conducts presentations and meetings on a daily basis to prospective customers
Captures field activity and sales related data in LFD Contact Management System
Coordinates sales activities with LFD Internal Wholesalers and the Specialists in other product lines
Undergraduate degree and 4+ years of comparable work experience required
FINRA Series 6 and 63 required; Series 7 preferred. Advanced industry degree or working toward advanced degree strongly preferred
Life, Health License in all states within assigned region/territory required
3-5+ years of experience in financial services sales that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
Must have excellent knowledge of Life Insurance, Fixed Annuities and Linked Benefit products
Proficiency in Financial Services Sales, Wholesaling and Relationship Management
Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations
Possesses a bias for action and avoids workplace distractions
Drives performance targets to completion
Position will cover multiple states and requires approximately 90% travel

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
