Job Introduction
This position is responsible for helping to integrate all new and take-over program launches from a Robotic field into the Assembly Department. Responsible to manage robotic programs through direct involvement through all phases from Engineering support at the vendor before the issue of a purchase order to product launch. Responsible for training and skill set advancement of other Multi-Craft personnel. Also responsible for continual improvement with all robotic processes.

Major Responsibilities
o Follow and enforce all plant safety rules and policies
o Assist with design feasibilities to optimize manufacturing and robot usage.
o Champion the development of robotic process lay-outs, interface with Operator stations, timing and quoting instruction to all participating vendors quoting on the project.
o Establish and follow up on full robotic program implementation (i.e. timing, PFMEA concept, manufacturing feasibility, process, simulation, prototype, line design, pattern build, hard tool build, engineering changes, tooling try-out, assembly verification, buy-off at vendor shop, home line try-out, PSO and PPAP and program launch.
o Be actively involved in sign-off for assembly equipment, automation, racks for auto loading with robots.
o Help establish Robotic Standards for line builds.
o Prepare all reports, charts, cost justifications and all other documentation required for engineering records and project.
o Interface with tooling,manufacturing and controls for special projects.
o Responsible for following all engineering specifications, to all departments involved.
o Manage and track the cost of all activities for the programs through all phases and into production.
o Manage and assist customers, vendors and other departments to implement the following:
o Engineering changes.
o Quality improvements.
o Productivity improvements.
o Cost reduction programs.
o Responsible for aiding customers on quality concerns and rejections if needed.
o Responsible to fill out and complete 7 steps and 8D procedures.
o Participate in Continual Improvement activities.
o Handle confidential information on a regular basis.
o Encourage safety and housekeeping practices and lead by example.
o Promote and facilitate Open Door process, effective communication and Fair Treatment.
o Adhere to customer requirements, Business Operating System and company policies.
o Performs regular workplace inspections (5S).
o Perform other duties as required.
Knowledge and Education
o Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
o Experience in from scratch robotic programming.
o 10-15 years of related work in the automotive/robotics industry.
o The Robotics engineer must be expertly knowledgeable in use of:
o Fanuc, ABB, Motoman, programming languages
o Robotic spot, mig, laser, material handling, roll hemming,adhesive applications, 2k, tera-stat, anti-flutter etc.
o Robotic interfaces with PLC and aux. equipment
o Assembly equipment and automation
o Manufacturing processes
o Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
o Computer programs (MS Office, PowerPoint, Project)
o SPC
o Experience in the use of Catia, UG or AutoCad would be a advantageEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
