Major Responsibilities
In general, ensure the achievement of OA targets for the Press Shop. Additional tasks may include but will not be limited to:
o Work with minimal supervision.
o Supports Manufacturing Engineering in the development of standards and specifications, including a complete purchase parts list related to controls systems.
o Plans and implements improvements within the Press Shop related to the specific controls systems.
o Plan and Lead cross-functional project teams supporting activities related to controls issues.
o Provides technical support for controls systems during the introduction of new equipment. Supervises the assembly and installation as well as assemble and installs new equipment and is able to make modifications to existing equipment as requested.
o Ensures proper controls specific documentation delivery form the Original Equipment Manufacturer.
o Provides technical support to Press Shop for resolving controls related issues.
o Responsible in the Press Shop Department for Technical Training of all Maintenance Employees and the development of programs by conducting training classes, providing technical documentation, etc. (Specific to but not exclusive to Beckhoff, Siemens & PILZ controls systems and safety systems)
o Ensure properly documented equipment breakdown/activity reports.
o Work with Press Shop maintenance Supervisor to prioritize task to be done during non production hours.
o Ensure scheduled maintenance task are completed and on time.
o Identify training needs for Maintenance Technicians. Provide requirements to the Press Shop Manager and training department.
o Provide feedback to maintenance supervisor for performance appraisal documentation.
o Provide leadership and direction during equipment downtime situations. Make good judgment decisions on technical matters and interface effectively with production supervision.
o Ensures Root Cause of downtime is properly investigated and addressed.
o Being competent with computer office related software. (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc)
o Robotics troubleshooting on robots.
o Electrical circuit troubleshooting.
o Pneumatic troubleshooting.
o Ensure new parts get ordered or returned unused part back to the correct stock location.
o Attend meetings on the shop floor as needed.
o Practices good housekeeping on the shop floor.
o Deals with vendors both parts suppliers and equipment suppliers.
o Sets up preventative maintenance procedures on electrical equipment for the Press department as established by the manufacturer's specifications.
o Maintain maintenance Quality standards and preventative/ predictive maintenance program for the Press Shop department to insure compliance with TS16949 Requirements.
o Maintain safety standards of equipment in work area.
o Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Education
o Technical Associates Degree preferred or equivalent automated manufacturing experience required. Technical knowledge will be demonstrated through a technical assessment prior to hire, lateral move, or promotion.
o Minimum 5 years of automated manufacturing technical experience required, experience working with Beckhoff, Siemens & Allen Bradley controls systems, experience working with PILZ safety controls systems.
o Intermediate = 1-3 years of experience / some training required. (Preferred)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
