The purpose of this position is to solicit, negotiate, sell, service and support the products related to BHN Business Solutions commercial services including presentation of available products to prospective clients, coordination of the business products installation and ongoing maintenance of commercial customers.
Required Skills
Identifies and develops new commercial business account prospects through cold-calling, inbound leads, referrals and marketing initiatives.
Educates potential customers as t the features and benefits of available commercial products.
Provides ongoing account management to existing business account customers to ensure customer satisfactions and retention.
Communicates business and product changes to existing customers, internal groups and potential customers.
Assures that sales and customer activity is tracked appropriately using Close Tabs.
Resolves customer complaints and credit issues.
Participates in marketing functions outside of normal sales activities. These include, but are not limited to, trade shows, presentations, trade association functions, etc.
Negotiates sales contracts, easement and services agreements; deals with complicated easement issues, as well as customer inquiries and complaints, acts as a liaison between customers and internal departments in problem resolution.
Acts as liaison between commercial customers and personnel within the Business Solutions Department as well as with the construction, services and installation departments in the division.
The ideal candidate will have proven business-to-business sales experience and a working knowledge of computers, computer networking, telecommunications, the Internet and web hosting.
Previous telecommunications and computer-related sales experience is preferred.
Ability to generate interest by effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to deliver sales and marketing presentations to business customers.
Experience negotiating contracts is required. Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decision and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines required.
The ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge is desired, along with adaptability and being able to work in team environment required.
A valid AL driver's license and good five-year driving record is required.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, good verbal and written communications skills, good negotiation skills, multi-tasking and time management skills.
Computer, modem, printer, fax machine, copier, calculator, telephone, automobile and other office equipment.
Must be able to drive personal vehicle.
Drive or travel as needed.
May sit for long periods of time.
Typing and reading on a computer.
Communicates in person, by telephone and through written correspondence.
Ability to meet with small, medium and large businesses in their business environment.
Required Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A college degree with a concentration in Business, Communications, Computer Science is preferred.
One to three years sales experience is required with sales experience in computer products, computer networking, and telecommunications is preferred.
Outside Sales experience in a business-to-business environment is expected.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
