Qualifications:
### Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field strongly preferred.
5
years of hands on programming experience in JD Edwards World required.
Experience working with JD Edwards World 9.3 ERP software both in configuration and setup and customizing packaged programs.
Experience with EDI a plus.
Experience writing and maintaining programs in RPG/400, ILE/RPG, RPG Free, CL, DDS, on iSeries architecture with strong experience in AS400 Query, SQL, Client Access, iSeries Navigator and desired knowledge of WDSC, DB2 Web Query and Web programming on System i.
Experience with data integrations from non-JDE systems to JDE, using Z-File Processing
Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
Thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware systems, and they relate to the solution in business problems.
Experience with CreateForm!, Showcase Query, ReportsNow Data Access Studio
Thorough knowledge of RPG III, RPG IV, CL
Development Tools/Utility experience including TAATOOLs, Hawkeye, Turnover a plus.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and document new applications in response to user requests. Use software tools to translate the requirements into software code. Conduct unit testing to ensure basic compliance with user requirements. Submit tested program for formal testing and approval by Quality Assurance team. Provide program specifications, set-up test environments, and initiate tests for basic functionality of the program.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance team to resolve discrepancies and other issues.
Prepare necessary documentation relating to operating procedures for new programs and user manuals to train the end-user community. Log related source codes using appropriate archiving methodologies for source code maintenance in future.
Provide on-call support to the end-user community for systems in production.
Thorough functional knowledge of the following JDE World applications: Sales Order, Financials, Inventory, Distribution, Purchasing, Product Costing, Manufacturing, Warehousing.
Use appropriate tools as provided by Company to track tasks and production support. Enable efficient management of information system projects and resources.
Provide technical consulting for upper management, and consultants regarding programming standards.
Maintain and enhance existing applications and respond to user's questions and problems related to these systems.
