Hendrick Hoover CDJR is looking for Experienced Automotive Technicians Immediately!
Automotive Technicians are expected to complete the following duties:
Conversing with customers or service advisors to determine vehicle problems, discuss work to be performed, and future repair requirements.
Performing quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer.
Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
Communicating directly and promptly with the service advisor so that customers are informed if any additional services are required.
Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Test-driving vehicles after repairs are made to test components and systems.
Using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges and computerized diagnostic devices.
Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Chrysler training preferred.
Some level of instructor led automotive training (e.g. high school automotive, vocational, college, technical school, OEM, etc.)
Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
Valid drivers license.
