Our Client Company is one of the world's premier, global automotive suppliers providing a comprehensive range of body, chassis and engineering solutions to OEM customers. They are currently seeking several Press Multicraft Technicians in Birmingham, AL. Compensation is $23-$25 per hour plus shift differential, depending on experience. (Abilities will be tested prior to employment.) Relocation assistance is available.
The Press Multicraft Technician provides technical support to production and carries out duties as assigned by the Press Department maintenance supervisor. He or she will be part of a hand-selected team that will aid in the commissioning of a brand new, 3,000-ton transfer press. These Press Multicraft Technicians will be trained on all facets of the electrical and mechanical operation, as well as the programming and maintenance of the new press.
Requirements:
Technical Associates degree (preferred) or equivalent automated manufacturing experience
Minimum of 4 years of automated manufacturing technical experience
Strong mechanical aptitude
Strong cognitive thinking skills
Ability to adhere to applicable rules/regulations and/or policies and procedures
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the general public
Willingness to travel and to learn all aspects of the position
Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
