Position Responsibilities
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position serves as a Project Manager for assigned client projects. In this role, you will lead a project management team that will drive day-to-day project management activities. You will be responsible for structuring and executing project approaches that deliver on client objectives. The Project Manager interacts directly with clients to assist them in the articulation of their business needs so that SunGard can respond appropriately to the work order in hand. The position requires that the Project Manager take the initiative in all situations by being an independent, responsible representative of SunGard. This position provides support for various projects so the Manager will need broad, but in-depth experience in the Software Design Lifecycle.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Implementation:
Conduct Project Assessment Visits with client and project team to prepare the client for the implementation, establish realistic expectations and confirm the scope for the project.
Work to progress the project within the scope of the project
Provide support to Omni personnel during the design, development, configuration and testing phase
Support client on-site during implementation and testing as needed
Lead the resolution of implementation issues
Support client on-site during Go-Live
Ensure a successful client transition from
Implementation to Support
Project Management and Oversight:
Review Project Implementation Plan with the appropriate stakeholders to ensure accuracy of contacts, scope, required resources (Omni and Client), timelines, defines custom enhancements for development (if required), training goals, testing goals, and project goals
Manage a project schedule that meets the requirements and availability of both the client and Omni personnel
Support and lead aspects of the project lifecycle
Provide status reports to the stakeholders as needed
Ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget
Personal Development:
Manage assigned duties
Continued education of new technology related to product suite
Position Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS
Must be able to lead med-large projects (and often multiple projects) from start to finish
Must be able to mentor new consultants as well as serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for other project teams, as needed
Must be a self-directed individual, who is extremely organized, detail-oriented, and has the ability to meet tight deadlines
Must possess excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Must possess effective consultation, assessment, and project leadership skills
Must have the ability to analyze complex situations and learn new processes and technologies quickly (Strong problem-solving skills)
Ability to document business and functional requirements, technical design specifications, business processes and recommendations as appropriate
Must be able to perform gap analysis
Ability to manage all aspects of a project
Project management certification preferred
Ability to create and document requirements traceability matrix
Must be reliable and responsive to client and/or management requests
Ability to positively represent SunGard Omni in front of clients
Familiarity with client-server applications, web-based applications, databases and networking
Familiarity with software security concepts and inappropriate exposure of personally identifiable information
Has strong knowledge of commonly-used business and/or technical concepts, practices, and procedures within the financial services industry
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project)
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor''s degree or the equivalent of education and experience
Graduate degree is preferred
Minimum of 10 years' related experience in the financial services industry
Basic knowledge of other components of software systems such as Integration
Previous experience working in the Benefit Administration/Retirement or Financial Services industry
Experience working with the Omni suite of products is desired
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
This resource can be based throughout the United States
Travel is required as necessary for the successful completion of duties
May need to travel a several days per week - at times may require travel up to 100% of the time
May require working over nights and/or weekends during critical phases of a project

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
