Job Responsibilities
Design, implement and direct continuous improvement projects, which support Corporate strategic objectives. Utilize departmental standard methodology to be used when completing projects. Utilize a company-wide project submission process for projects that will enhance the efficiency of operations. Create positive, professional relationships with both internal and external customers. Analyze business processes and implement improvements. Report progress of projects to management on a regular basis. Identify risks and problems that occur during project lifecycle including strategic direction. Determine tasks to delegate to Project Consultants assigned on projects. Provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching to Project Consultants. Some travel may be required.
Qualifications
A Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or related field. Must currently have 50 hours of Project Management training. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. 7 years of successful project management demonstrated through work experience. At least 3 years of proven successful Project Management on large scale corporate projects and initiatives. Knowledge and application of the principles of project management. Extensive experience with government contracts Invitations to Compete (ITCs), and transitions; and/or and Request for Information (RFI)/ Request for Proposals (RFPs) process; and/or experience with managing IT projects following a System Development Life Cycles (SDLCs). Must have a background in continuous improvement, quality initiatives, business problem solving, operations management, and/or organizational behavior acquired through experience in business management, project management, information services or various engineering disciplines. Knowledge of research and analysis techniques; and/or an overall knowledge of the Medicare environment and operations. Excellent knowledge of software such as MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Understanding of project portfolio toolsets and a basic understanding of portfolio management principals. Able to work in a fast paced environment, often with competing priorities and firm deadlines. Must be flexible and able to work independently.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
