Summary of Duties
Responsible for the development, administration and overall operations of Noland Hospital services in accordance with established standards, plans, procedures, regulatory requirements and accrediting standards.
Essential Job Functions
Develops a plan of organization for the conduct of facility operations and submits to the Vice President for approval. Recommends changes when necessary.
Oversees facility operations in a quality and cost conscious manner, ensuring that decisions are sound, fair and consistent with corporate goals and according to regulatory agencies and accrediting standards.
Initiates, organizes, plans and directs functions in all areas of facility through the expertise of professional personnel.
Meets with Vice President regularly to discuss the financial status, philosophy and objectives, capital expenditures, long-range plans and regulations governing facility operations.
Monitors facility performance against established development, financial and work force plans.
Recommends future plans, programs, and changes to same to Vice President.
Develops, implements, maintains and reviews written policies and procedures that govern the operation of facility. Recommends changes as necessary to assure continued compliance.
Interprets facility policies and procedures to employees, patients, family members, visitors, government agencies, etc., as necessary.
Represents facility in dealing with outside agencies, including governmental agencies and third party payors, or provides an authorized representative of the facility when unavailable personally.
Makes written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the operations of facility.
Makes routine inspections of facility to assure that established policies and procedures are being implemented and followed.
Coordinates facility surveys/inspections made by authorized government agencies and applicable accrediting agencies and ensure compliance.
Evaluates and implements recommendations from facility committees as necessary.
Prepares and submits to Vice President annual capital and operating budgets for approval by the governing board and allocates the resources to carry out programs and activities of the facility.
Recruits and retains highly qualified individuals to ensure the effective management of facility resources. Establishes and monitors employee development plans and communicates expectations on a regular basis.
Attends promptly to administrative duties, including the signing of documents, preparation of reports, completion of performance appraisals, and other employee-related actions.
Delegates administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability to other staff personnel as deemed necessary to perform their assigned tasks.
Education
Masters in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent required.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years experience in healthcare management. Long term acute care hospital experience preferred.
Physical Requirements for Essential Job Functions
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of the position can be fully met.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
