The candidate works closely with the operations and business development teams to provide guidance and risk assessments to grow the business in a legal and compliant manner. Represent company and its affiliates in a variety of legal matters. Primary legal contact for assigned Group of facilities, providing accurate, constructive and timely legal advice and support to the Group in an efficient manner, through both direct work and effective management of outside counsel when warranted. Focus on corporate law areas such as joint venture agreement provisions and amendments and mergers, acquisitions and dispositions within the Group's markets. Serving as the primary legal contact and resource for the regional leaders and facilities which are part of one Group of company facilities, advising them on various non-litigation legal matters which arise from time to time in the context of the management and ownership of an outpatient health care facility jointly owned with physicians and/or hospitals. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, including partnership agreements, LLC operating agreements, member agreements, other joint venture related agreements and vendor agreements. Advising on and handling partnership, LLC, joint venture and corporate transactions, including repurchases of ownership interests from physicians and amendments to limited partnership agreements and LLC operating agreements. Coordinating and managing outside counsel on various matters, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, partnership re-structures and other corporate transactions. Assisting the General Counsel with other projects as needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
