Position supervises
: The VP, Medical Services works closely with senior management and the Physician Advisory Board, the Clinical Leadership Council, Chief Compliance Officer, Regional Presidents and Operations.

The Medical Service Team reports to the VP, Medical Services including 2 Registered Nurses and a Clinical Audit Specialist.

Internal relationships
: This individual has a collaborative relationship with the Corporate Compliance Department and other Corporate departments such as ITG, Quality, and Operations.

Educate and train all Hospital Medical Directors on HealthSouth's ACE-IT systems, admission criteria and physician documentation.
Interface with Medical Staff at hospital and regional levels to ensure a valid analysis of patient admissions, clinical quality and outcomes, physician documentation and ACE-IT implementation.
Stay abreast of changing regulatory requirements in order to organize and coordinate activities that ensure compliance with clinical, professional and accreditation standards and regulatory responsibilities.
o Develop and implement education and training related to changes in reimbursement trends.
o On-site visits with CEOs and Medical Directors to ensure consistency to accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
Support collaborative relationships with physicians, hospitals, and other ancillary providers in community.
Provide or organize physician review services for utilization management, quality management and peer review.

Board Certification:
Board Certified in area of
Specialty; PM-R, orthopedic surgery, and neurology are particularly relevant.

Education:
M.D. or D.O. Required

Experience:
Minimum 10 years Clinical experience, and minimum five years management
experience with an emphasis in data analytics and education.

A history of both managing established operations and successfully integrating acquisitions into established operations.
A track record of managing and achieving operational excellence in a large, multi-site organization
Strong technology skills.
A proactive and energetic self-starter who demonstrates a sense of urgency, creativity and a can-do attitude in the achievement of long-term and short-term goals.
A broad understanding of inpatient rehabilitation healthcare marketing concepts.
Skilled in developing improvements in work methods.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
