Position Purpose: Coordinate construction activities including preconstruction, material logistics, and construction closeouts. Primary Duties and
Responsibilities: 1. Review precon packages to determine material requirements 2. Manage bill of materials from corporate warehouse to local warehouse to cell sites. 3. Create and manage reports in regards to material tracking for delivery schedules, shortages, revisions, inventory, deployment, etc. 4. Attend meetings with Development Team and provide reports on material logistics. 5. Track to completion accuracy of all material shipments and provide reports for T-Mobile review with warehouse contractor. 6. Specialist must be versed in construction and materials and will need to become familiar with scope of project to properly manage material requirements. 7. Specialist must have an in-depth understanding of cell site construction procedures and processes. 8. 9. Support the Project Manager with tracking materials, construction closeouts, punch items, completion of construction projects and uploads of dates and schedule changes into T-Mobile database Insite.
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:
Functional/Technical Skills: 1. Must be well versed in construction practices as they relate to the wireless industry, as well as previous experience tracking material logistics. 2. Specialist must have excellent xcell skills including vlookup, pivots, custom reports, etc. 3. Must have some knowledge of standard construction specs/standards for each applicable site type, to insure that construction closeouts are reflective of T-Mobile's construction and engineering requirements for each site. Education &
Experience: 1. Must have construction and/or telecommunications background. 2. Must have at least 3 years industry or associated work experience. 3. Must have experience similar to Construction Manager level. Preferred skills:
