Paralegal

An Alabama based law firm with local, regional, and national clients, has an immediate opening for an experienced paralegal. The best candidate will be self-motivated, punctual, and possess above-average typing skills, organizational skills, and communication skills.
Traveling must not be an issue.
The lawyer this person will work for mostly handles worker's comp cases, so this person needs to have worked in other firms dealing with worker's comp. Other required skills would be:
ability to analyze and summarize case-related materials, litigation and trial experience, must have excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point, and their Bachelor's degree from a four year institution and/or their paralegal certificate from an accredited paralegal program. It would be extremely beneficial to have experience with TrialDirector, Summation, Westlaw, Worldox, and Prolaw.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
