Risk Quantitative Manager

At Regions, the Risk Quantitative Manager oversees and leads ongoing development, back testing and refinement of quantitative based models for risk rating and loss forecasting.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related
Seven (7) years' experience in econometrics, mathematical finance, or statistical methods
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Preferences
Supervisory experience
Additional Preferences:
Significant experience in advanced defaultand recovery methodologies
Solid grounding in statistics: linear/non-linearregression, hazard rate models, optimization, etc.
Scorecard development experience andknowledge of rating agency approaches
Basel II/III
Knowledge of vendor models such as RiskCalc,CreditEdge, Kamakura, etc.
SAS, R, VBA Script, SQL, C
Solid understanding of financial ratios
Ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent writing, communication andpresentation skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
