Licensed Practical Nurse--Geriatrics--UAB Highlands

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible under the direction of a NP, MD to provide direct and indirect patient care in a clinical area for specific age and patient populations. Practices within the scope of the LPN licensure.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: Position requires a degree from an accredited nursing LPN school and a current Alabama LPN license. One-year experience as a LPN required.
Must: (1) enter 4,000 keystrokes per hour; (2) possess basic knowledge of PC applications, software, and database management.

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Required:
Current Alabama LPN license.
Current CPR certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Current and valid Drivers license.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
