Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting with planning, estimating, coordinating, developing and executing test plans and test scripts (manual and automated) in accordance with information technology quality assurance standards. The Quality Assurance Analyst will verify that all testing objectives are met and that the solution works as expected to ensure successful project go-lives and/or enterprise software release schedules.
This position partners with managers/staff of cross-functional teams to understand and analyze business, functional, technical and user interface requirements to determine testing needs. The Quality Assurance Analyst works with the Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to coordinate and monitor all activities of the testing plan to record and resolve testing issues. This position recommends best practices for manual and automated script planning and development. This position may also require peer reviews, monitoring, training and evaluation of other Quality Assurance Analysts.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or applicable work experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Health Care Administration, Software Engineering, Computer science, Quality Assurance or other relevant area
Minimum Qualifications
3-5 years' Quality Assurance experience.
2-3 years' experience in writing detailed manual and automated test scripts
Knowledge of Quality Assurance best practices and methodologies
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Preferred Qualifications
3-5 years' Quality Assurance experience in Health Care / Hospital environment
2-3 years' experience working with HP's Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)/Unified Functional Testing (UFT) tools
2-3 years' experience in Software Implementation Quality Assurance
Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
Required: Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or CTFL obtained within 12 months of employment
Preferred: Certified Tester Advanced Level (CTAL)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
