Real Estate Market Analysis Analyst I

At Regions, the Real Estate Market Analysis Analyst enhances shareholder value by performing a thorough market analysis of the market and the bank's real estate collateral position within the market in order to minimize credit losses. Will asses the supply and demand drivers of assigned markets and real estate collateral projects. Will work collaboratively with the Applied Market Research Group, Real Estate Credit, Relationship Teams and others to prepare analysis and recommendations.
Primary Responsibilities
Assesses real estate collateral projects' position with their respective markets utilizing all available tools
Understands the methodologies used by data providers as the basis for differentiating between and applying data and forecasts
Develops and maintains working relationships to obtain market insight with associates internally and professionals externally
Visits markets to remain abreast of trends and to confirm accuracy of market data
Produces market analysis reports to support the underwriting assumptions recommended to the REB Relationship Team and RE Credit
Performs additional duties and/or projects as needed
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Real Estate
Three (3) years experience in real estate industry analysis/research, underwriting or equivalent

Certified Financial Accountant CFA or
Masters degree

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
