Field Service Representative

Creating LivaNova and ultimately building a new premier medical device company has been an exciting time for us! In response to our growth, we have an opportunity for a Field Service Representative to join our Cardiac Surgery (CS) Sales Team in Birmingham, AL.
Independently, you will provide educational and technical support to our existing customers for our CS Products. This is an opportunity to work hands-on with oxygenators, heart lung machines, blood pumps and other perfusion products. You will put your excellent troubleshooting skills to work as you provide follow-up support for clinics and manage problems and issues as needed.
Collaborate with some of the world's most renowned Electrophysiologists, Cardiologist, CT Surgeons, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, and LivaNova Team Professionals. This is not a job; this is a career where your office is within the Operating Room, Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab, and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab.

Here is what Year One is all about. For a Field Service Representative, using your skills to make a difference truly;
Serves as primary resource for clinical support in the areas of surgical coverage, basic troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products.
Educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms.
Performs preventative maintenance on equipment within scheduled time frames.
Communicates accurate technical findings to enable thorough analysis of problems, root causes and resolutions.
Sells service business as appropriate and works closely with the sales team to continue a strong LivaNova presence.
This role is no easy task, but the opportunity to make a difference is real! You need to possess 3 + years' recent prior experience working in field technical support. The right person for the job has recent experience working in an Operating Room (OR), Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. Two years of technical college or equivalent experience is required. In the role, you are on-call, which may be required 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Bring to the role superior analytical and organizational capabilities and a passion for meeting deadlines.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
