Position Summary:


Responsible for quality assurance testing of our client's software applications and ensuring the functionality meets design specifications ad business requirements through the writing, execution and reporting of manual test cases. 



Responsibilities


- Perform various testing types and techniques such as exploratory, functional, black box, browser compatibility, usability, end-to-end, user acceptance and regression 
-Participates in design sessions, and provides advice on design specifications to ensure the optimal user experience. 
-  Serves as Test Lead for several application. Assigns responsibilities for each release. Coaches and mentors Junior QA Analysts. Coordinates testing activities with additional QA testers



- Develop and document test cases based on business requirements, functional and technical requirements, user stories and business use cases
- Identify, document and track defects
- Provide QA support for scheduled deployments/release





Requirements

- 5+ yrs of cumulative software quality assurance testing experience
- 3+ yrs of experience translating business requirements into test scenarios and test cases
- Minimum 1 year experience with web-based applications and e-commerce sites 
- Strong  written and oral communication skills
Beneficial
- Experience with JavaScript and SQL scripting
- Automated testing experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
