Financial Analyst III

Responsible for assistance with the management of capital projects (e.g., new business and product initiatives or operational implementations)..
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for consolidating, analyzing, and interpreting project-related information, and assistance with the management of the bank-wide portfolio of projects to a budget and timeline for implementation. Responsibilities also include reporting for projects at every stage from approval through deployment, including project metrics.
Assist with the oversight of project flow through the project management system from request through completion, including monitoring of approval flow, priority, scope, funding, reporting and closure.
Create presentations for management approval and reporting and manage approval documentation and reporting metrics.
Work with finance to ensure business cases, expense estimates and project analysis information adheres to company policy and accounting and technical standards.
Reconcile project funding with programs accounting and finance on a monthly basis to ensure real time funding status.
Work with technical groups and finance to forecast spending by project and calendar year to adhere to budget needs.
Coordinate metric tracking files for local and global corporate tracking needs, to include projects, budgets, operational metrics and resource tracking.
Bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in finance or accounting, computer science
Minimum of 3-5 yrs demonstrated & proven experience
Possess strong analytical, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
Detail oriented, strong excel and financial mgmt. systems knowledge preferred.
Ability to work independently and self-motivated
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately to all roles; to include written and verbal communication
Excellent ability to collect, analyze and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data
Ability to multi-task ongoing projects and requests

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
