Echo-Vascular Tech (PRN)

Performs ultrasound examinations of the heart to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation. Records and maintains test data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a physician or manager. Education: May require an associate's degree or graduate of an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology or its equivalent and may require certification throug hthe American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARMS). Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Experience: One year experience performing echocardiography in a clinical setting, beyond formal education/training in order to develop competence in image and Doppler acquisition, and performing quantitative measurements and calculations required using images and data obtained. Must be able to arrive at accurate "evaluative" conclusions based on observations, measurements, and calculations obtained during the routine echocardiography examination. Up to three months orientation to departmental policies, procedures, protocols and equipment is usually required. Licenses/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
