.NET Developer - Wealth Management

At Regions the Programmer Analyst works from specifications to develop or modify moderately complex software programming applications.
Primary Responsibilities
?Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems, and devises computer programs, systems and related procedures to process data
?Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submits recommendations for solution
?Prepares program specifications and diagrams and develops coding logic flowcharts
?Encodes, tests, debugs, and installs the operating programs and procedures in coordination with computer operations and user departments
?Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity
?Has appreciable latitude for independent action or decision
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
?Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field without additional experience
?Completion of a technical training program in software development programming language and four years business experience will also qualify
?High school diploma or GED and eight years experience will also qualify

?Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
?Good project management skills, operating as part of a team organizing, planning and executing projects
?Good troubleshooting skills
This .Net Developer position will work closely with other .Net Developers, SQL Server Database Developers, and Business Analysts in a fast-paced development environment. This individual will assist the development team in supporting production applications and developing new applications using the Agile methodology.
Duties & Responsibilities
? Create, modify and support .Net applications written in C#
? Provide accurate estimates of effort required to complete assignments
? Strong written and oral communication skills, presentation and interpersonal skills.
? Work with business analysts to fully understand business requirements and convert into appropriate technical solutions
Experienced ASP.NET and C# developer C#
- .Net Framework 4.0 or later
- Experienced in XML, XML Schemas, and Web Service technology
- Experience with Web 2.0, JQuery and MVC 4
o SQL Server (2008 or later), including database design and T-SQL development
o Working knowledge of common development tools such as SQL Management Studio.
o Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities
o Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
o Open and active collaboration with colleagues during Sprint Planning
Preferred but not required
o CSS experience
o JavaScript experience
o Entity framework and dependency injection
o Basic understanding of version control and Agile tools like TFS
o Previous experience in an Agile work environment
Previous banking/financial industry experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
