Central Regional President

HealthSouth is currently looking for a Regional President for our Central region. ?


The Central region has 21 hospitals, 20 of which are located in Kansas, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee and 1 hospital in Bristol, Virginia. ??The region will increase to 23 hospitals in 2017.?


The Regional President will be located within the region. ?The ideal candidate will be able to travel nearly every week to a HealthSouth hospital in the Central region.?


The Regional President will assist the Executive Vice President of Operations in creating and/or implementing long-term strategic plans and goals that support HealthSouth's strategic business plan.? In addition, the Regional President oversees the daily operations of a group of hospitals in the region.


The Regional President is responsible for improving both the top and bottom lines for the respective regions.? They have a significant responsibility to connect with those in the region who deliver the company's services to its patients as well as communicating values, metrics and goals to appropriate Hospital Leadership.

Total Education, Vocational Training and Experience:
????????? MBA strongly preferred; MHA acceptable with the right experience
????????? Senior leadership position in multi-site, multi-state healthcare organization
????????? 5 years Executive level healthcare experience working with multi-site facilities
????????? Minimum 7-10 years Executive level healthcare experience.? CEO experience preferred.
????????? Clinical/therapeutic background helpful but not required;
????????? Background in other industries extremely helpful: investment banking, law or accounting, for example
Skills and Abilities:
????????? Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
????????? Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner
????????? Ability to communicate effectively in both writing and verbal arenas as well as via email.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
