JOB SUMMARY: Maintains dish machine and three bay sink, cleanliness of kitchen work areas and equipment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Uses knife correctly (French, serrated or other) in chopping, dicing, etc. Completes assigned tasks within the allowable time standard. Follows all recipes and procedures while preparing assigned food items. Cleans and maintains workspace. Follows sanitation and safety standards. Safely operates and maintains cleanliness of equipment (i.e. slicer, mixer, etc.). Receives, stores and rotates food items. Other assigned duties from the Culinary staff. Follow all company policies as outlined. ACCOUNTABILITIES Food items prepared must be to recipe with regards to quality, consistency, and time standards; creating satisfied guests and avoiding guest complaints. Cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of work area are maintained. Additional accountabilities include but are not limited to Site Specific Duties
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS Reading and understanding English required. Lifts up to 55-lbs (bags/boxes) and carries short distance. Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts from knives, kitchen equipment, burns, slips and falls. Walks and stands during 8 10 hour shift. Able to work closely with other staff, at a consistently fast pace while performing a variety of time restraint tasks. Meets all Todd English Enterprises standards for safe food handling. Able to work at approx. 36 table/stove and reach approx. 36. Must be able to lift 75 pounds safely. Must reach (6 to overhead), bend stoop and wipe. Previous experience required.
