In this role you will:

  • Perform a multitude of duties across agency divisions to develop job knowledge and skills.
  • Under direct supervision, pursue the sale of various types of insurance policies to businesses and/or individuals on behalf of insurance companies.
  • Under direct supervision, communicates with prospective and current clients to explain features and merits of policies offered.
  • Utilize client information and circumstances to design and implement strategic efforts related to insurance coverage.
  • Develop prospective client networks and pursues business leads.
  • May interview prospective clients to obtain data related to insurance policies and needs.
  • Input and track activities in sales management systems.
  • Become familiar and knowledgeable of various company processes and procedures, including the use of the sales management system and various account management processes.

You have:

  • Bachelor s Degree
  • Currently possess or have ability to obtain Property & Casualty license within 90 days of hire
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to perform well in high-energy, dynamic and team-oriented environments
  • Demonstrate a high degree of dependability and motivation

You may have:

  • Previous experience in a sales environment
  • Prior experience in presentations and preparation of similar for both internal and external audience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
